endometrial biopsy
Has anyone had an endometrial/ uterine biopsy? How painful is this? Honestly? My doctor already said its painful, but he doesnt have a uterus, so I wanna hear how bad it is from some women.

I think I have had 5 now...
I'm not gonna lie, it hurts, not horribly, but kind of like bad period cramps. It is only for about 10 seconds, if even that long. I usally spot for a day or two after.
Take a bunch of advil an hour before and you will be fine.

I know this sounds weird... but can you hear it being done?
Is it better or worse than the HSG?

That is weird 
Nope, can't hear anything. It seems just like getting a pap, except it hurts more.
Much easier and quicker than the HSG!!

I had one last week. It hurts but it's a quick sharp cramping and then it's over.
I'm headed off to have an HSG this a.m. and I'm NOT happy to hear the endo biopsy was easier than the HSG.

What I meant was that the hsg takes longer b/c they are watching dye go through your tubes...there is more set up...just more to it overall.
the biopsy lilterally takes 10 seconds.

I had one a few days ago. It didn't hurt, just uncomfortable.
I agree with Lisa, take Tylenol before and it isn't bad.

I just got back from the HSG - it was fine. But I'm glad it's over.

Mine hurt too a bit. take Advil or something before you go.
Basically what they ddi with me was went up on in "there" with this small claw like tooking thing that took "bites: out of "me" My dr took like 4 or 5 - I think she took too many...I bled a little,not bad. It stung a bit and cramped a bit after.
