Envy by JR Ward - Fallen Angels #3 - Spoilers!

Just finished it and it was by far the best one yet! But for those who read it already, who is the vampire they mentioned twice and Veck sees in the end? This was such an exciting book! I'm sad I read it so fast!

It's Throe from Lover Unleashed. Throe is the one that attacked Kroner and then wiped Veck's memory of it. At the end of Envy he comes back to finish the job. Reread Unleashed if you don't remember Veck from there.

I was very happy with this book for several reasons: 1) I felt she redeemed herself after Unleashed, because I was unhappy with a lot of things in that one (not to say I still didn't enjoy it, I just felt it wasn't the same caliber as her other books). 2) She killed a major character. Love when that happens. Adds another level to everything. She never does that in BDB because they need their happy endings...except for Wellsie, and that was good. If she killed a Brother...now that would be some reading.

Waiting for the Brothers and Lassiter to start working with Jim and Ad...if the last soul turned out to be Manny or something like that, that would be awesome.

You know?? I think I do need to re-read Unleashed because it doesnt seem familiar to me at all. That was the one with Manny and the woman who trains with Wrath? (her name escapes me too)

And yes, Ward wrote this book with all the good stuff she is made of as if it were a passion like she writes her BDB books. The first 2 Angels books were good but this one was fantastic!
