Epidural Back Pain - anyone else?
For those of you who had an epidural, has anyone experienced really bad back pain afterwards? I had a c-section and was given the epi. My back is horrible now. It hurts to bend over and sit for long periods. Anyone else experience something similar? How long does it last?

I had an epidural when I had my D&C back in November. The point of injection and the surrounding area was very sore for a few months.

Yes!! 2 months later it is still there! i am taking motrin now and my dr. said it could last 2 months and is from inflammation. if it is not better by mon. i have to go see him.

No back pain, but I have some residual numbness in my right leg 2 weeks later.
They had to give me two epidurals though. The first one hit a blood vessel.

THank you.
No, didn't have to. Lo and behold, DH was allowed, almost encouraged to stay over night. So he stayed with me every night for four nights on a sleeper they provide. My roommate's husband also had her husband stay two out of the three. Thanks for asking.
