Epidural--pain 1 year later?

DD is almost 1. I sometimes will be playing with her and laying on the floor when my back goes out and it's the lower back (not the spot the epidural necessarily went in) when I just can't move, my back totally numbs up for a few seconds. This also happen when at the gym doing sit ups. Anyone else experience this or have advice?

I relate this to the epidural b/c I have never had this prior.

I get spasms in my upper back and had problems with my lower back while I was pregnant. DS is 17 months now and still have it occasional. I also have a herniated disc in my neck now which came out of nowhere. I relate all this to my pregnancy and labor You have to remember you are picking up your 1 yr. old, probably holding your DS funny on your hip, bending over changing DC, bending over the tub to bathe DC...basically putting your back in an ackward positions to take care of DC. Not to mention they aren't as light as they were when they were first born

I would go see a chiropractor or maybe see if you can go to physical therapy. I started physical therapy and it has helped me tremendously.

I've experienced the same thing. I have so much back pain, and I beleive its from the epidural. Its been almost 2 years, and I'm still dealing with it.

I definately agree it might be from picking her up but this is a total numbness which leads me to think it's something from the drug.
