ER today..3RD update with transfer info
IVF #5
ER today...so nervous!!
UPDATE:
You would think the nerves would go away after 5 cycles but the don't! UGH!
We got 16 eggs which I am glad about. I was especially nervous because I was unsure if we would get a lot. A lot of the follicles were measuring different sizes. Now the wait for the fertilization report...update again tomorrow
UPDATE #2 6/16:
Dr just called. Out of the 16 eggs retrieved, 11 were mature, and 9 Fertilized. Transfer either Sat or Monday. So excited!
UPDATE #3 6/18/11
Transferred 3 8-celled grade 1, 1, 1-2 embryos (three day transfer)..now we wait!

I had three failed cycles with similar numbers (at a different RE)- all failed
4th cycle, 3 years ago when I got pregnant with my son, I had 24 eggs. This was with a different protocol that we used again. I realize that 3 years makes a HUGE difference. I just hope we have at least 6 embryos. He should be calling lunchtime tomorrow with the fertility report.
