Ever Been To A Shower/Party At Setauket or Medford Pastaria?
How did it go? I love the decor there and am thinking of having my sister's bridal shower there. I've never been to either, only saw pics online. The only downfall is they don't have a private party room, so I'm wondering how they accomodate everyone along with regular patrons and do they offer a gift table, etc.? Oh and the cake, I've never had a cake from Benkerts and that's who they use. Are they a good bakery?

i think at the one in setauket if you have a certain amount of people you get the whole dining room - its not very big. but its very nice and the food is really good.

I haven't ate at either one in a long time, but my office has catered thru them quite often and the food is delicious. Good luck!!

The food is great at Setauket. I haven't been to a party, but we have been there when they have closed the dining room to patrons for a shower, graduation, etc.
They have a fake wall that goes about 3/4 of the way up the wall, it is semi private, but the people at the pizza counter can peek into your party while waiting, (not a big dea in my opinion, it isn't really that open). The room is rectangular, and long.
Benkert's is great. They are the same family as Black Forest bakery and I think Create a Cake

I went to wedding rehearsal at the Setauket one - it was tight in there and got loud at times cause the DR was partially opened plus you had all the people coming in for their pies.
