Every Mommy should have an SLR!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy with my Nikon D80. Of course I have so much to learn about it. But since I have gotten it I have taken almost 200 shots that I LOVE
The speed is awesome!!!
Thanks for the recs and help in choosing!!!!
Now to just get my computer cleaned up so I can install the software and download some pics!

Absolutely!! I love mine, and got a new 18-200 lens and a new external flash from Santa that I am loving!

As long as you have one on, that's all that matters in terms of protecting your lens.
I've gone through 3 broken filters & my lens is still perfect.
