I am so impressed with that video. He never once named his tormentor(s) nor blame them. It was almost like a PSA. I really hope this helps to stop the violence he has faced and to let other kids know they are not alone in this. It is so sad that it goes on.

Wow - what a great kid.
. . . It tugged at my heartstrings when I read that he enjoys doing plays because there aren't bullies in the drama club. I was a drama club kid all through middle school and high school - theatre accepts everyone!

I've always been very sensitive to bullying because my younger brother was in Special Ed. and basically tormented, especially in high school. My parents had to pull him out and put him in BOCES. He's fine now...thank God! But what really gets me is now that I'm a parent I couldn't even imagine what I'd be like if DD was bullied.

Very powerful. Thanks for posting. Its so sad that kids have to go thru this.
ETA: My younger brother was bullied in grade school. My mom went to the school. The principal told my mom that the other kid was much smaller then my brother. How could he be a bully to him. My mom took my brother out of the school. Not 5 years later on the cover of the Daily News was a photo of that smaller kid. He was arrested for murder. My Mom wanted to shove the paper in the principals face & say. now do you still think I was crazy for taking my son out of your school?
