I guess I am in tbe minority but I don't do much before 130 on a Saturday anyway. And if I did , I would just skip it if we had a party that day. No need to be running on all cylinders all the time. It's exhausting
I'm the same way. I would rather have obligations earlier in the day that way I have the rest of the day to do what I need.
It's probably because I'm not a morning person. So I really don't get my @ss in gear on a Saturday morning until at least 10 am . I like to sleep in, sit around and drink coffee in my PJs etc
That makes two of us!! We are not a morning family!! LOL

Lol - I’m the opposite. Up around 6 on the weekends. I’m at the gym by 7. We’re out running errands by 9:30/10. If we do a family activity, it usually happens from 10:30-1:30. Then we relax the rest of the day!
Yes, this is us (minus the gym ). DD has dance at 9 then we’ll usually have brunch after and then go about our day.
For me, a party in the middle of the day stinks because you can’t do much before or after. But, barring any major plans, we would still go.
I don’t see how a party from 1:30-3 wouldn’t mess up people’s days, but I seem to be the odd one out. This sounds mean but I also have a million kids to invite to this thing and wouldn’t complain about a few no’s.

MY DH is like this and I don't understand it at all. LOL The gym is such a foreign concept to me it might as well be the free masons. Laziness is just in my blood.... I try so hard to not be lazy but it's like telling someone to change their skin or eye color..... I see DD is like me- she ******* about having to get up at 7 for school and tells me she loves sleeping in. Finally, she got SOMETHING from me.
