Re: EWC - Waxing | European Wax Center
I love it. I go to the one in Merrick & the same girl does my eyebrows, lip & brazilian every 3 weeksi bought the unlimited package which comes out cheaper in the long run. They use the same wax as in Bliss Spa when I used to go, but for less than half the price. I went through 3 girls until I found the 1 I was the most comfortable with, but all of them are great and friendly. & most importantly, barely flinch during the brazilian

Re: EWC - Waxing | European Wax Center
I went there last year to get my eyebrows waxed. (Merrick location). The girl who worked on me didn't really know what she was doing, and even left tiny stray hairs unplucked. I won't go back there again. Much cheaper to go for the $10 Asian nail salon place and they don't make you wait like some silly doctors office. They also try to sell you big on their annual membership which I think is a complete ripoff.

I go for brazilians at the plainveiw location and they are great! I went to massapequa one time because it was closer an i had a disgusting experience and their customer service sucked when I spoke up! Do I will only go to plainveiw now!

I go to the one in Stonybrook. I love it! Very clean- they use a fresh stick every time, no double dipping in the wax.

I would try again and request a different person if i were you.
The nail salons may be cheaper, but they almost ALWAYS double dip, and are nowhere near as sanitary as EWC. Worth the extra few bucks IMO.
To the OPs question, I have the yearly membership for what I go for, which gives me 2 free waxes, and I love it. I go to Stony Brook.

LOVE them. I used to go to the East NPT location until the one just opened up in Huntington Village. Good experiences at both. Doesn't hurt nearly as much as other places, super clean, much cheaper, and better quality wax. They can be very pushy with their products and getting you on a package and scheduling your next appt on advance. Which I find really annoying, but I simply say no thank you. They're clearly an organization that does extensive sales training and keeps things very uniform across the board. Not a bad thing, just my impression.

Go there all the time for brazilian. They make me feel comfortable during a kind of awkward event and are very sanitary!

I love this place too! Super clean and friendly. I ended up buying a package but even without the package I think their prices are reasonable. I go to the Merrick location.

Re: EWC - Waxing | European Wax Center
not a fan although I liked the wax, it didn't hurt and didn't leave me red.
I think I prefer more of the spa experience. disposal underwear, nice music, dim lights.
That place felt like a hospital delivery room to me. BRIGHT fluorescent lighting, white walls, table with exam paper on it.

I used to go to the Merrick location and now go to the Massapequa one since its closer. I have never had a bad experience and either one, but the lighting at both is def. too bright!
