Excel Question
Does anyone know how to get the = sign to be treated like a symbol and NOT as a command to calculate?
I tried formatting as text but that didn't work.
Never mind, I got it - I inserted it as a symbol

Re: Excel Question
Usually I just put in the = sign and hit enter and it's fine.
Maybe try putting a ' before the =

I know you got it already, but I thought I would add that you can put an apostrophe ' before any symbol or number and it will enter it exactly as you type it.
I have had trouble with Excel automatically formatting numbers as dates, and this is often easier than having to format individual cells.

Works for zip codes that start with '0' too
