Excited (about kitchen, new desk and our NY vacation)... Frustrated (with SEARS, again).
Let's start with the happy/exciting part...
We're ordering our kitchen! Our meeting with the Home Depot designer went great last night and we decided on......drumroll please............
Gettysburg White!
Here are the layout pics that HD printed for us:
Corner where we're adding a tall pantry with roll-out drawers, plus more cabinets and countertop space!
Here's what it looks like now (excuse the mess):
So happy with our decision! 
Part II of my excitement... we put our brand new desk together AND mounted our flat screen TV on the wall in the office. 
Now for the letdown... one word... SEARS.
The exchange (3rd attempt) of our washer is today plus we were schedule for them to also deliver our range, microwave and dishwasher. They call and say the range, micro and dishwasher will not be delivered today b/c the manufacturers truck didn't make it to the warehouse on time. Great. Our $400 rebate for maytag expires on 7/1.
They are calling us later to reschedule... problem is we're leaving for NY tonight () for a week so we have to figure out what to do about them delivering before 7/1.
We'll be cutting it close with getting our rebate in, but i'm determined to not lose out on that $400.

Sorry to hear SEARS is making things difficult. Have they offered some compensation if you loose out at the rebate?

They already are sending us a $50 gift card for the first time they brought the wrong thing (dryer instead of washer). I asked them about losing out on the rebate and the woman said that since it's Maytag's fault (they did not get it to the sears warehouse on time for today's delivery) that they should extend my rebate date if we don't get it in time. I'll have to call Maytag today about that.

It's from Office Depot... it comes in a cream color also.

On some of the rebate forms it says if you haven't taken delivery by the due date to mail the form in without the serial numbers and then you have another date which you must call in the serial numbers by. Or you can try to mail it without the serial numbers (by the due date) and then they'll send something back asking for the serial numbers. GL

That's a good idea. I'm going to call Maytag to make sure i can do that... thanks.
