Exclusively pumping
Wondering if anyone who has exclusively pumped can offer me any advice/tips. I was supplementing with formula at night, but we had a weight check today and DD is doing very well and she really prefers breast milk, so I'm going to try and amp it up and pump more. Anyway to get even more milk in then I am producing now? I pump for about 15 min and get probably 3 ounces. Just trying to stay ahead of her...

hey....on each breast, after DC is done, pump for 10 minutes more. do this for 3 days and ull see an increase....

I was that way at first. 15 minutes and I'd get 2-3 ounces max, which was frustrating. As the weeks went on I was able to get more.
It sounds insane, but if I look at pictures of him while I pump, I get significantly more. There's some kind of hormonal release to it for me.
I also found if I pumped about 5 minutes past when I stopped seeing milk I would get another let down and that gave me another 1-2 ounces.

I got so much more milk in the middle of the night. Drink a glass of water before pumping and another before you go to bed.
My pump supply was slow at first, it will pick up though.
