exersaucer/jumparoo

I never registered for these items for my shower, instead I got the Gymini. DS loves it, but now that he is almost 5 months, I would like to get him one of these. DH and I went to Babies R Us yesterday, and it's between the Evenflo Exersaucer and the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumparoo. Which one do you recommend?
Since this next baby is coming when DS is 13 months, I want something that will hold up for awhile so that I can use it with him/her also.
TIA! Chat Icon

Re: exersaucer/jumparoo

K has an exersaucer that one of my friends gave me. She LOVES it in the AM.

She has the rainforest jumperoo that my dad bought for her.... She LOVES that in the PM.

If you have the room, I would say get both.... if you don't... I honestly don't know... it's a toss up! I had the Evenflo exersaucer in Vegas, and I couldn't wait til she used it.... but I'm so happy that she has a jumperoo here now!

For my DS I just had the exersaucer because we didn't have the room at the time for both. He loved it and it kept him entertained for hours. The evenflo ones are great because you can interchange the toys to keep them from getting bored. Now I have both (thanks Adrianna for the jumperoo if you see this Chat Icon ) and DD likes both. If I had to choose just one I would get the exersaucer-I think it has more variety of activities on it than the jumperoo.

Thanks ladies!! Chat Icon
We have the room for both, it's just a matter of convincing DH to buy both! Chat Icon Chat Icon
I'll try to use the excuse that both will get lots of usage with two babies. Chat Icon

We have both and I found my kids enjoyed them both.

I would go for the Jumperoo just for the fact that you can take it places. We brought it to Block Island for DD when she was 12 months and I sometimes bring it to my parents for DS (6 mos).

Re: exersaucer/jumparoo

I would say Exersaucer---its more versatile and he can use it longer---the jumper he gets tired out quickly---he really only goes in it 10-15 minutes a day

hahaha, we have both also, and im glad we did. Kaila used both and loved both. If I didnt have the room I probably would have went with the jumperoo.. I think she liked that a little bit more.

Re: exersaucer/jumparoo

We have 2 jumparoos and they were well worth the money...they were maniacs in them..now that they are starting to walk no one has any interest.

If you want one if you have any interest..

Re: exersaucer/jumparoo

I would get both. My son got tired of the exersaucer by about 7 months, but at 10 months he still loves the jumperoo.

Re: exersaucer/jumparoo

Both are fun, but the exersaucer will last longer I think, and most children like it to some degree. A couple friends have kids who did not like the jumparoo.
