Exersaucer question.....worth it?
We never registered nor got one. I just figured it would be one more thing for her to not use (she never cared for the bouncer).
After seeing Chelle's pics, I'm starting to think..... should I...? I have to go to BRU today to get the breathable bumpers anyway.......

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
I would. We just set up DD's the other night, and she's been in it twice so far. She likes it, but at only 4 months, she doesn't really play too much yet, just looks around...she's still working on the hand coordination, plus she's the type that has to warm up to new things.
I would get it if you could...it can keep her occupied and safe while you're doing other things.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
DS just started loving it at 6 months. Before now, he really didn't know what to do with it. I do think he likes the jumperoo better, but the exersaucer can definitely entertain him for a while. My own personal opinion is that you don't need to spend hundreds on a fancy one. My sister-in-law had an expensive, fancy one, with a million things going on, and her son kept bopping himself in the head with the hanging toys! I have the Evenflo Circus Exersaucer. It doesn't "look" like that much fun. But DS loves it. All of the toys are teethers and they are easy for him to pull towards himself and get in his mouth. They also sell "switcheroos" that you can swap with the original toys to make it more interested and "new again".
Good luck!

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
If you have a jumparoo or something of the sort, I would say NO. But, if you don't have that then yes, the exersaucer would be great.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
I have the bounce bounce baby - it is an exersaucer & bouncer & my DD loves it. (She's almost 5 1/2 months & has been in it for over a month). She doesn't bounce a lot yet, but the other part she loves & moves all around to play with all the toys.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
Lucas loves the exersaucer! It's the cutest thing...we first put him in at 4 months and he was good for short periods...now he can spend much more time in it and he goes crazy for all of the toys...he spins around to touch everything.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
We used ours for a little over 2 months. We started just as she was learning to sit and when she started crawling, she had no interest in it anymore.
It was a lifesaver when we needed to get some stuff done but she never wanted to be in it for more than 15 minutes.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
My DD loves her exersaucer also. She has the evenflo 3 in 1. We started putting her in it at around 3 months. She didn't do much at that stage but she got used to it and learned fast how to play with all of the toys. She is now 6 months and goes crazy in it. She also has the jumperoo and loves that also, but they are very different from each other. I would say its totally worth it.

Re: Exersaucer question.....worth it?
My DD loves the 3 in 1 by Evenflo - we liked it b.c it also becomes an activity table. She pulls on the toys and plays with everything now and turns herself around in it. It definitely keeps her occupied.
