exersaucer time limit?
is there a certain amount of time you should let your DC play in the exersaucer (circle of fun - my family calls it )
my dad had said only 20 min, and i didnt ask him where he got that info, and i forgot to ask the doc this time around..
DS is 6 months.. thanks

I never heard of a time limit for it. My DD who is 4 months only lasts for about 15-20 in it anyway!

DS only last in it for about 15-20 min. I think I heard the time limit is 20 min, but I really don't think it is going to do any damage if your kids stays in there longer then 20 minutes. I would say more like 45 min to an hour is too long.

15-20 minutes... my ped said, as well as a couple of books I read. (I forget off the top of my head why). My DD will be 6 months on Sunday, but there are times I will let her play in it of an extended period of time if I really need to get something done.

I believe its because it's not good for their hips.

DS is 6 months too, his time limit is 1/2 hr. He would probably stay longer if I let him but 30 min is where I draw the line.

no time limit that Im aware of. DS will stay in it for hours sometimes, or 10 mins. Depends on his mood.

It's not good for their hips to stay in it for an extended period of time. The joints aren't full formed, and it can be damaging.
