Experience gifts for baby
Any ideas for a one year old boy? They live in Brooklyn. He’s the chillest baby I’ve ever seen and could probably sit through anything. I looked into the Brooklyn Children’s museum but the family membership is a little more than I want to spend (hoping to stay under $100).

NYC transit museum is a lot of fun. There’s also a small amusement park, Adventurers, off the belt parkway. Sort of like Adventureland. I think that’s maybe better for age 3. Aquarium in Coney Island Prospect park zoo, Queens zoo, Central Park zoo

Membership to indoor playspaces
Agreed. We just had the twins birthday and asked for kore experiences after Christmas explosion. They got swimming lessons and a year membership to the kids museum out east.
Try this list: https://mommypoppins.com/long-island-kids/indoor-activities/best-indoor-play-spaces-on-long-island-nassau-county
I know you said Brooklyn but maybe something on the island is close to this? I’m not too familiar with nassau or how close/ far things are

Just a thought... if one parent is home with the child or goes with the child primarily to places... you can still swing a membership. Most places (zoo, Brooklyn children museum, aquariums, etc), a baby is free. So you get an individual membership. Some of those have the perks of bringing guests and the whole family can go. They run $75. I did this for my sister to Bronx zoo and she has been a member ever since (now upgrading as her kids are older). Just checked and Brooklyn Children’s Museum is free for kids.
