Re: Expiration date on Marriage?
There are probably some people who would like that idea.... celebs might prefer a 1 yr expiration date
But I don't see what the point of getting married would be then....if you know it's going to end...

Re: Expiration date on Marriage?
This idea is so stupid. It is an obvious ploy for publicity. What kind of idiot would actually recommend this?

Re: Expiration date on Marriage?
Ridiculous... What happened to "the good and the bad"?
I don't understand why people want to change marriage. If you don't like the "terms"... just don't get married. Nobody is forcing anyone to get married. I think it's up to individuals to make their marriage work not a "dateline" to get out if you don't like it. That's what divorce are for!!!!!!

Re: Expiration date on Marriage?
Hey, this concept would have saved me alot of money and trouble
Seriously, I think it's a bad idea. Goes against the entire point and sacraments of marriage.

That's what I was thinking. Celebrities need this type of marriage except maybe shorten that 7yrs to about say 6mths-1yr
As far the rest of us it would seem kind of silly. If you choose not to "renew" your marriage isn't that technically divorce anyway You would still have to work out all your assests accumulated throughout your marriage (house, children) so it's not like it even saves time in that aspect.
