Expired Meds
I found a few vials of repronex at the bottom of my big drug box...and it said they expired 5/08
would you use them?

me personally... no, but I am a stickler on expiration dates, I won't drink the milk if its the day before the date!!!
maybe ask your dr or pharmacist?

Ha ha, I am too when it comes to food, but food doesn't cost what these meds do 
I had asked the pharmacy and they said no, but I get the feeling that they just want to sell me more meds

do you need ganarelix? I have some.
edited to add---I dk know...whoo want to go through alll of that to hhave something not work--but I am sure the doctor would know...
I doo know you can go past the date on alot of things

They do!!
I know in my industry (food), we are required by law to put expiration dates but in reality, most things are good way past those dates (canned foods, not fresh products). So I think it is the same with meds.....up to a certain point of course. Couldn't hurt to ask Cornell...

good point, but the integrity of the follistim was compromised
these were stored well, just fell to the bottom of the box

I would call Dr. D. I mean, I don't think its a big deal, personally. But I don't that anyone one of here a qualified to make that sort of distinction

I had a similar situation. I had some follistim from my first cycle in 2005 that expired one month before I needed them. I spoke to the nurse and she said if it was tylenol or advil or cold medicine, she would say to use it but something like this, for what I was using it for, it wasn't worth the risk. KWIM?? If it doesn't work, you'll always wonder....was it the expired meds?? Will they hurt you? No. But they don't know for sure if they are as good as non expired ones.

I actually started the patches today but strangely enough I ovulated late this month (I never do) and I have a short cycle
SO I woke up this morning and feel like AF is coming...I put the patch on anyway, but asked DrD what he thought...I don't want to waste meds and then get AF in the middle of priming 
So, it looks like I am waiting until next month now
