Extra fee for Urgent Care
I went to Urgent Care in Washington DC back in July for a swollen lymph node I received. I was told at the time the service would cost $175...
When I exited from my quick exam, I was told that they do take my insurance so it was submitted to my insurance company and I paid my $15 copay. What was submitted was $275???
Fast forward to today, I just received a call asking why I hadn't paid my bill for $260. I said I never received a bill and I was told it was $175. They say that urgent care always gets an extra $100 charge and I'm responsible for it.
Has anyone heard this? I've gone to urgent care in NY and was never charged this much!!!

My insurance bills urgent care as a e-room visit, so I have my e-room co-pay which is $100

It's just weird - if I had paid it out of pocket like I was going to do originally, I would have saved $100 because I was only billed $175 then 
I think my insurance did cover some of it as well, I saved the explanation of benefits that I got back in July because I was curious as to why they were billed an extra $100 on top of the $175.
