Extra meds for IVF update
I have some meds left over from my stim cycle which I just finished. I have 6 boxes of menopur and 2 boxes of ganirelex. Does anyone need these meds? I know there are some girls on here who don't have insurance, just thought someone could use them. let me know.

Update:
I have someone for the meds. If that person doesn't end up needed them I will post it again for anyone else.

thanks gerty. good to know. I only paid the copay for the meds, not sure what that was so i'm not looking to make any money, just trying to make someone's process a little easier. Do you know if the meds go bad?

They should all have an expiration date on them.
I got a lot of my meds from wonderful women on this site, thank God, as they would have run me about 8K.
I would think you would get a lot of responses.....great of you to offer!

I am probably starting IVF (with no insurance coverage in March. I will gladly take them if I need them or I can take them now and pass them on if I don't? When do they expire?

the menopur expires 3/09 and one of the ganirelex expires 2/09 and the other 7/09.
the only thing i am wondering is if I have to do this again, which I hope I don't, is the insurance company going to expect me to hold on to the meds? I have 12 frozen embryo's and the RE said the chances of me having to do another retrieval are slim. I have Empire united health care for insurance.

the insurance co has no idea how much meds you used...
as far as they know you used them all

There is no way of them knowing how much you used. I gave my first batch away and then bought more for my second cycle....then gave those away after I was done.
I also have Empire United Healthcare
