Re: Extreme exhaustion

I could have written this word for word. I also have a DS that I feel as if I am neglecting because I am so tired and nauseous all the time. I am just trying to take it one day at a time and praying that I start to feel better tomorrow. Here's hoping we both start to feel better soon!

Extreme exhaustion

I was completely wiped out up until 12-13 weeks. I would wake up at 7:30am and be falling asleep on the couch by 8pm. I hope it gets better for you soon!!!

I'm 23w2d and still exhausted. The daytime exhaustion stopped a while ago but I still barely make it to 10pm (9pm some nights).

Thats how I've been feeling the past 7 weeks. I have nothing to comapare it to since it's my first. It's just complete exhaustion.

All I want is a full nights sleep before this baby comes!

Same here! I feel like such a crappy mom half the time. My poor husband has been doing most of the cleaning too and I just feel bad. I was wondering the same thing. I am almost 11 week I hope the answer is soon! I am so tired all the time but cant sleep through the night! I keep wishing day lights savings will come sooner so I can sleep in one more hr lol.

Hope it gets better for you soon!

Re: Extreme exhaustion

I felt just as you describe up until 12 weeks or so. DH was so annoyed that I'd be passed out on the couch by 830-9pm every night, and I barely even work. Taking DD out to play was SUPER draining.

Sometime after 12 weeks it did get better. I can function better now but I'm definitely not peppy. I still drag my butt out of bed every morning, although I was never a morning person. My energy level is still pretty low but not nearly as bad as the first trimester. I think it will most likely get at least somewhat better for you. It is absolutely harder the 2nd time around when you have another LO to tend to!
