Both my brother and I had blue eyes until we were 2 - then they turned green and stayed that way!

Up to one year. anytime they are on the darker side, out pedi said they would be more likely to change. If they are a lighter blue, they probably won't. My DH has really blue eyes, so we hope lauren's stay blue.

They are pretty light so I hope they stay! I have light eyes (green) and DH has brown. My FIL has ice blue eyes and blond hair. We think that is where Jeremy gets his coloring from (I also was blond as a baby though)

I was also told a year.
Joseph had gray/blue eyes until he was about 7 months old & they gradually turned green/blue.
Maddies were a very deep dark blue that turned dark brown almost immediately.
I agree with Trish that light, light blue probably stay blue.

Sarah's had hazel eyes since she was 6 months old, but they are starting to look more brown lately. She'll be 2 next month.
ETA: Andy has that outfit too.

My DD is 4 wks old and eyes are very dark and look like a small line of blue around the edges. My Husband has light blue eyes & mine are brown..does eye color ever go from brown to blue in babies?

my sons eyes were green for 3 years and then kept getting darker green and darker green. they turned brown when he was about 6. my other son's turned hazel brown when he was about 3.

I read somewhere that eyes will not go from dark to light but can go from light to dark

I have a friend who had blond hair and blue eyes until she has in the 1st grade- Then they slowly changed to brown! Seeing pics of her - she looks like 2 different children!
