eye color changing now?

DD is going to be 4 months and her eyes are changing color. They were really dark brown, and now they look somewhat green...does it happen this late?

thats sounds early to me.

My oldest DD was born with blue eyes. Her eyes didn't start to change to green until she was around 7 or 8 months old. Then when she was 1 1/2 years old they changed from green to brown.

My DS' eyes were greyish blue until about 3-4 months, then they turned brown and stayed brown (like mine)

my son's eyes were light blue when he was born...they are starting to get a green center now...

I don't think you can be sure until even age 3!

DS had blue eyes until he was around 5. They changed to green.

I read (I don't remember where though) that 6 months is around when they have their eye color.

The change usually happens by 6-9 months. So it's not late at all. It's actually fairly clear that her eyes will be changing colors.

"Usually" after 18 months, your eye color is set but you are never really sure. Some have children who eyes changed to green around 2. Although it's not the norm. Blue eye adults have even reported changing color all the way into adulhood. Blue to grey, Blue to greenish blue, etc...

DD#1 was about 14 months when her eyecolor changed from blue to hazel green.

Oh I didnt know! Do they ever change from brown to something else?

A friend of mine had crystal blue eyes throughout her childhood and somewhere in her teen years, they turned green. I guess they can change at anytime. Mine change often actually, some days they look green, other days they are hazel and on a rare occasion, my eyes are blue. Depends on what i'm wearing I think.
