Re: fabric shower curtain liner
I use them. They seem to last longer than the plastic kind, although they do eventually get a bit of mildew around the bottom. For some reason, the mildew on ours is an orange color though. I don't know if that has something to do with our water.

It turns orange for me too, I just pop it in the wash.

Re: fabric shower curtain liner
I like fabric much better than plastic. When it starts to get dirty, I just wash it and it's good as new.

Re: fabric shower curtain liner
I had them for a while, and while washing does help with the staining, I found it never gets "as good as new".

Re: fabric shower curtain liner
I don't have a farbic liner, just a fabric curtain, and a plastic liner behind it. It works great, plus when it gets gross, just toss it. They are always at the $1 store.

I have them and like them much better than the plastic liners. They don't stick to you like plastic and if you throw them in a hot bleach wash they come out good as new.
I think I paid $10 at WalMart.

I agree- and after a few washings it's kind of gross ........I've found I like the throw away plastic ones better, I've also found that they keep the water off the bathroom floor better too -

Re: fabric shower curtain liner
I have a cotton shower curtain, no liner.
It gets a little mildew at the bottom. I just spray bleach on it between washings, and the mildew disappears. (The curtain is natural colored.) I like the cotton better than plastic curtains.
