Fabric Softener Sheets in new front loading dryer
Can you put dryer sheets in the new high capacity front loading dryers? My husband and I are having a debate about this. I don't see why not - he says he thinks you aren't supposed to.

I don't think you are. Something about buildup accumulating on the lint catcher. But I think this may be on all dryers. The manual will tell you if you can though. HTH.

I happen to be oding laundry right now  so I checked my manual and it says in step 3 that you can add fabric softener or a dryer sheet if desired.

My DH is an appliance tech and he says you can but it may turn the drum blue (only some dryer sheets do this)

Ahhh that is what the blue is from!
I switched to Arm and Hammer sheets with no probs.

We've been doing this for 2 years with no problems  We've used Bounce and the Target version of it.

I use them, but I tried the Stop & Shop brand and I do not recommend them as they leave BAD stucky residue on the lint screen. You can barely get the lint off, so I went back to my Arm & Hammer ones.
