Fabulous Lunch in the Hamptons?

Me and my girlfriends are going to the hamptons for the day, going to a museum and then want to have a fabulous lunch

so far i found this place
The Living Room @ c/o The Maidstone
It looks very good.

We will be in the east hampton area.

Any suggestions are appreciated, prefer something expensive, french, contemporary or new american cuisine.

TIA

If you want, you could try Almond, but its not in East Hampton. It's in Bridgehampton. And again, it's not that expensive- its mid range I'd say. But isn't the quality of the food more important than what you spend???

Pierre's in Bridgehampton is a great french restaurant.

For Dinner I love Nick & Toni's in East Hampton. I don't think they serve lunch though.

seconded on the almond restaurant.

don't know why expensive food is a criteria Chat Icon

walk around Southampton Village PLENTY of expensive joints to choose from.

Hotel Nello cost DH & I $98.00 for 4 drinks.
maybe that's what you're looking for. I believe it's on Main Street & Nugent.

(the drinks s*cked btw)

The reason i wanted something on the pricier side is because the girls I am going with really enjoy really fancy places their picky Significant others wouldn't ever go to.

me and my friends like trying very exotic food, caviar, oysters, lobster, sweetbreads, foie gras, and the men want grilled chicken breast and rice.

The 1700 House in east hampton,
Della Famina
Plaza Cafe -Southampton
Red bar Brasserie

Those are the places I would check out - they get good ratings from zagat and have menus that are what you are looking for.
