Facebook Buy/Sell groups
I am ready to get rid of baby gear and clothes. Anyone have much luck selling things on FB groups? For clothes, is it better to sell each piece separately or just do one of those "lots" per size? Any tips or info you can share would be great!

i think it depends what you are selling and how much you are selling for. I am on a ton and sometimes I have trouble selling things. And I feel like now tons of people are selling the same thing. It has taken me months and months to sell things.
I just think you need to bump/post it at the right time someone needs them.
Price it correctly; reality the cheaper you list it for the quicker it sells.

Girls clothes from NB through 12 months (mostly Carters). Also jumper, swing, rock & play, play mat, etc

Sell clothes as a lot... I find the "take this bag for $20" approach works well... I know that is how I've liked to purchase clothes in the past. As for the bigger baby items, those have been super hard to sell... most mommies already have those items from their showers.... you need to hope to find the ones who have sold all their stuff and accidentally gotten pregnant again lol
I now use the fb marketplace section to sell.. and I like that I can post to several buy/sell sites all at once.

I've had good luck. Many things sold quickly and others took longer but big items do sell if you price right. I sold my high chair, infant seat, snap and go, jumper, toys.

I've only had luck selling name brand clothes like J Crew, Gap, Hanna, etc. And I actually sold all my baby items on there too. Most of the people who bought were buying to keep at the grandparents house. You just have to price it right.

I don't worry about this but some people do the transaction at the local police station.

I figure if you do a deal over fb at least a few thousand people can see who you made a deal with! I used the app close 5 once and I felt uneasy bc it wasn't it there for anyone to see like if you use fb groups. I've only had good experiences though.
