there are many buy/sell/swap groups on facebook you could try.
Nassau/Suffolk Buy and Sell is one for example.

I am so truly sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how painful it is for you to see all of the nursery items. If you don't want to store the items, you can try posting on the buy/sell thread posted on parenting.
