Failed my 1 hour
I got a phone call this morning. The cut off is 140 and my sugar was 150. It could have been anything that caused it to be elevated. I had a twix the day before. A sip of vitamin water that morning. Anything. Nonetheless I have to do the 3 hour screening. I’ll be picking up the paperwork on lunch and will try to schedule the appt for Tuesday morning. This one is a fasting one and I have to follow a strict diet for 3 days before testing. I had a feeling I would fail the 1 hour.

Whats really ironic is since the office is dead I picked up donuts, brownies and munchkins for the 7 people in my department. Then after I bought all that stuff they called. I was like oh isn't that just lovely. I brought all these yummy treats and now you call to tell me I failed

I failed it too...I am going tomorrow morning for the 3 hour....but the doctor didnt mention anything about a strict diet three days before....

Interesting. Yea they told me I have to avoid cakes, cookies, and the yummy stuff. I guess anything that has major sugar in it. I'll get the papers on lunch of what I need to do.
I am hoping since it wasn't too high it was just something that I had the day before or that morning that triggered it and I should be fine for the 3 hour.

i have to go on tuesday b/c they said mine came back elevated. they just said i have to eat exactly 2 hours before i come.

Apparently its pretty common to fail the 1 hour but pass the 3.

When I took the 3 hr last time I didn't have to be on a strict diet before the test, just fast.
