Fair Market Value?
Would you say the Fair Market Value of your house is a good assessment as to what your house would sell for in today's market???

Re: Fair Market Value?
I get a tax assessment each year with the house value listed. In past years the assessment has been off by thousands (assessment was much lower) but not the assessment is more in line with asking prices in the area. This is in VA though not NY.
