Fall and Winter coats

Where did you get yours? I feel like DD needs a coat right now but all of them that I see are so bulky looking.

Re: Fall and Winter coats

I got a cute Osh Kosh coat (kind of on the lighter side) for $17.50 at Kohls, I think they were having a sale Wed. But you know they will be on sale again! They called it a winter coat, but it seemed a little thin, but we'll see.

Re: Fall and Winter coats

I picked up one at target yesterday. Its a 4 in 1, with a removable fleece vest, that can be worn alone or with the shell.

I also have a "fancier" coat for her with fur trim and embroidery. But the one above is for everyday (unless i find something else I like more).

Re: Fall and Winter coats

I got him a light coat from Old Navy and he has quite a few heavy sweaters.

For his heavy jacket, I got it from Gap last year for $15 Chat Icon

Re: Fall and Winter coats

If your baby is still in his infant seat is it necessary to get a coat if you have the bunting on the bottom that slides over the car seat?

Re: Fall and Winter coats

yes, i would recommend a bunting (full winter coat that has the legs & feet) as well. there will be some days & nights when you'll be grateful for in the winter.

We had a bundle me and I didn't need a winter coat for her when she was in that only if we took her out w/o that.

Same here - she was born in November and didn't have a coat, just the bundle me.

Re: Fall and Winter coats

Heavyweight or lightweight - Lands End or LL Bean

Heavyweight - Gap warmest jacket - Last year I bought my DD one in the store bc I had to have the brown/pink but I usually get them from ebay. They have good resale value on ebay as well.

Although you just cant beat the end of season sales - I got my DS his winter coat last year for $4.00 + change (down coat with fleece lining from Lands End)
