"fall" clean up?

We got our offer accepted on our current home last October, then closed/moved in by Christmas. We have about a half acre of property and the leaves were never picked up from the Fall since no one was living here in the interim.

We *attempted* to clean up the leaves yesterday, but it is a much bigger job than it looks like (leaves are bordering the property, stuck in, under, and around bushes and property). Six bags of leaves did not even make a dent. Most of our land is in the back, but it's the front yard that is the worst. So I guess we would need a "Fall" clean up instead of a "Spring" clean up, right?

How much do these usually run? I'm scared it is going to cost a fortune, and we don't have a ton of funds to deal with? Can anyone recommend an inexpensive lawn company that won't break the bank? We are in the Commack area and I'm dying to get these leaves off my property!

I have an acre in westchester and am paying $200 for spring cleaning. Normal price is $400 but we're using them for some landscaping as we'll.

I paid $350 for leaves, weeding, trimming plants, and applying bark dust. The cost of the bark dust was separate.

We don't have any trees in our backyard and only 2 small ones in the front. Our spring clean up was $100. IMO, it's worth it for you to invest since they will be coming with all the equipment to take care of it. Unless you want to rent a blower so you can pile up all the leaves yourself.
