Landscaper question - Fall clean up

Is it automatically assumed that the landscapers do this? We never got an estimate or anything about it, and they are here today doing it.

Are we going to get socked with a massive bill?

Re: Landscaper question - Fall clean up

When we sign our yearly contract we have to mark off the services we want them to perform. It's not automatically assumed they will do fall clean up in our case.

Re: Landscaper question - Fall clean up

Thanks! I just checked my original paperwork and it just mentioned the weekly mowing - no mention of a fall cleanup of any kind. DH went out before and asked them to stop and he left a message for the owner. I feel bad because it looks like they are doing our block today, but I don't want to be surprised with a massive bill.

Re: Landscaper question - Fall clean up

My landscaper would let me know in advance if there were any "big" charges coming up before doing the work.

He said I don't have enough trees for a fall cleanup so he doesn't charge us for one. Chat Icon In fact his guys were here today blowing leaves. Lawn looks great and I should only be paying my weekly trim.

It may be good that your DH told them to stop. But it could also be bad. Hey may have had no intention on charging you. However now that you stopped them they may now think you "expect" to pay for a cleanup and they may charge you. Who knows.
