Family in desperate need of help...
A friend of mine was in the fires in Selden leaving them with nothing but their pijamas. They literally have nothing and they have 2 kids 9 months and 9 yrs old. He is calling me in a few hrs bc I was only able to reach the house that he works at. If anyone has extra clothes or toys that they would like to donate I am sure he would most appreciative.

I have a huge bag of stuffed animals I was looking to donate. I'm sure if I look, I have some baby clothes too...for a girl. I also have toys.

I was just there yesterday, helping my friend move some things. SHe was in the same building. I'd be happy to donate a few things if I have what they need. I'll be on the lookout for details.

Wow, I hadn't heard of this fire and just read about it on Newsday  Nicholas went to school over there and a lot of his classmates lived in there.
I would love to donate some of the outgrown things my kids have, I will get some things together. Please please let me know where. I can bring the stuff to your house later or tomorrow if you want.

I might have some toys but no clothing in either size. I would be more than happy to pick up clothing and drop off somewhere

DO you think it would be helpful for people to drop it by me and then I distribute it out or would it be "normal" for people to drop it straight to them? Not sure how this would work...
Plus like I said I am awaiting his phone call...
