Family meeting dc for the first time?

If you have family thats local (anywhere from 5-30 minutes away) and they haven't met dc yet after almost 5 months, how do you feel about that?

Would you be mad? Or you don't care?

Things like that pisss me off, so yes, I would be in a mood about it.

But, my cousins have never met DS and he is three, soo...

It would depend who it was. My in laws will most likely never meet my son and I'm ok with that.
Anyone in my family, I would be extremely upset about.

Mad. My one uncle (my mom's brother) didn't meet DS until he was 6 months old and that was at my brother's 30th birthday party. No card, no call to congratulate, no gift, nothing. All I got was, "so this is shane..." Mind you, we're a close family...I was pisssed.

depends on the "family" If it was immediate (i.e. parents, siblings, grandparents), I'd be upset.

Otherwise my feeling is that it's their loss..... I don't really care.

ETA: My mother's husband only met my DD once and she was already 6 months old. She is now 15 months... and even then he acted like she wasn't even there. IMO, it really is his loss that he doesn't know how amazing she is. He's an azz anyway.

I would only be upset if CLOSE family did not meet DD, as in my parents, siblings.

The fact that cousins, aunts, uncles of mine have not met her does not bother me at all.
