Family Photos... A Vent of sorts..
My kids started a new day care this week and the new day care asks for pictures of the family.. Okay fine. So off I go on my search... me, me and DS, me and DS and DD, me and DD, DS and DD...
So then I go to look through family events and find these...
Overall I found exactly ONE picture with all 4 of our heads in it and no one else... and DH and DD aren't looking (forget about smiling). 
And part of the problem is DH won't put his own camera down long enough to be IN a picture...
I'm having a family photo shoot done this spring if it kills me.
Moral of my story: Don't forget to take a minute and pose for a picture or two!!

I dont have a single pic of all of the kids together...
Which, if you know what I do for a living, is really laughable...
I have 1...exactly 1 pic of DH, myself, and DS
Great pic...love it...only one we have...

And I say to you what I'd say to my DH... it's YOUR FAULT! Put the camera down and go stand next to your husband and kid(s).
One of my issues is that I'll get it all set up...settings right..lighting right...etc
The camera will click....ONCE
And Dh will get up and be like "all done"...
He should know better by now...

Does your DH have a tripod? That is the only way I've gotten any of the whole family. I set the timer and put my camera on continuous shooting for 10 shots. This way, if we are not all ready at the beginning, we can usually get one or two decent ones. Just a thought in case you can't wait until your family shoot this spring.

Its ok- I only have 1 family picture- and its from when DD was 18 months. Which, for the same reasons as Heather gave above- is laughable!
I really need to change that!

Ummm same here However, I made a vow to change that. I did some with Shira over the summer and I have another session booked for just the kids and I in May.
I am so tired of going through photos and realizing there are none of us. My DH hates taking photos - HATES it. He is impossible. I have none of us together and we've been together 11 years. Other than our wedding, I have maybe 10 and that is pushing it.

Yeah my biggest gripe too. I finally got a family shot this year on our trip to Cabo but of course DS is not smiling. But I will take it since its the only one I got.
Doesn't help that every time I ask DH to pose for a family shot, I get an eyeroll

LOL - mine does that too and then doesn't smile AND complains like a baby.
However, I mentioned to him that I was doing pics with the kids and he got all bent out of shape saying "its not a family pic if I'm not in it". I swear, I can't win.

No family shots here I'm trying to convince DH to take a family picture but he won't...he actually doesn't like paying for pictures at all.
Off subject: What camera do you use? I need to buy a new camera and I want a cheaper camera which takes professional looking pictures. My point and shoot camera just isn't doing the job.
