Matteo's in Bellmore.
My relatives also gave DH and I some gift cards for Red Lobster but we haven't gone yet. I know that place is pretty "kid friendly".

Re: Family Restaurants
Millers Ale House (the name doesn't sound it, but it is kid friendly) My DS loves it there because there are a ton of TV's for him to look at...it does get crowded on the weekends though after 5.

Re: Family Restaurants
Laguna Grill - voted best family restaurant on LI (or so they say) - Woodbury
South of the Border - Levittown
Popeiis - Wantagh Ave.
Hemingways - Wantagh
Bacci - Westbury
We take DD everywhere, and I try to stay away from chains - although she does love PF Changs.

Re: Family Restaurants
Not sure what age for child friendly you mean....but DS is 9 months & lately we take him to IHOP, Pancake Cottage or the diner......he loves all 3 for the action I think! It's like a tennis match watching his head go back & forth to look at everything Plus if he is messy, they never seem to care!

I agree with you...any restaurant early works for us...we actually go everywhere now. There was a short period of 6 months after she turned 2 where it was hard, but other than that it's been easy. She is nosey so that helps (just point her towards a crowd of people and she spends time wowing them )
