Family Vacation Suggestions Needed -- All Adults

My parents have been talking about going away on a family vacation in October/November.

There are 6 people who would be going - my parents, DH & I, and my brother and his girlfriend. There are no young ones involved.

I think it would probably be a long weekend, 3-4 days?

Somewhere warmer than NY.

Flying is ok -- but preferably not a very long flight.

Where would you go?!

I say Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach, quick flights and great time of year to be there! Also, Bermuda and Bahamas are quick flights, like 2 hours to Bermuda, and 2 1/2 to Nassau
Or, if you wanted something more close to home, the Jersey Shore (Cape May, Lavallette) and Ocean City, Maryland are great places to visit also for long weekends!

Charleston or Savannah.

I really want to go to Chicago but it wouldn't be warmer there.

Just saw southwest is flying direct from islip to charleston.

My parents have a condo in Ft. Lauderdale and we love it there--so much to do.

Also maybe a cruise from NYC-I know there is one to Bermuda, not sure if 3-4 days is enough time.
