Re: Farmingville

I saw a house there that I loved and would have bought in a second if the commute wouldn't have been so long for me.

I dont' know much about the area....but it seems nice Chat Icon

Re: Farmingville

Farmingville is an up and coming area. We would look there if the commute wouldn't be 3 hours each way.
My brother says "there's something in the water there" I have no idea what he's talking about, sometimes my brother talks crazy.

Re: Farmingville

It's definitely Sachem SD and they do have an illegal alien problem. It's contained pretty much on North Ocean Ave though. They have some very nice homes in Farmingville.

That's not all of Farmingville!! - That is EAST of Nichols Road.

Farmingville is a huge area - I grew up in Farmingville (WEST of Nicholls Road) - went to Sachem - and now my sister lives in the same area. No day laborer's - just a quiet community.

Re: Farmingville

I live across from the new high school and honestly-we love it here. Our neighborhood is friendly, clean, everyone is fixing up and mainatining their homes. Hinestly, the illegal immigrabt thing bothered me at first but honestly-we have not been affected by it. They condemned 2 of the houses they were living in on N.Ocean Ave and they aren't allowed to loiter in front f the 7-11 anymore.
Sure-i'll see them when i'm driving going to do laundry or StopNShop but nothing has ever happened.

There are a couple of Farmingville houses on MLS that say Patch-Medford SD. Maybe they're technically not Farmingville? Chat Icon
