Farrow & Ball paint
HOLY FRIGGIN MOLY!!!!
dh ordered me their catalogue b/c I liked a particular paint colour as shown in House Beautiful.
I thought the paint would be pricey (more than Benjamin Moore) but almost had my baby when I saw the cost!!
$99 for a GALLON of paint.
one dollar less than ONE HUNDRED for a GALLON of paint.
there better be some little rain forest indigenous people grinding up berries and leaves to make these colours...I mean SERIOUSLY
how good (or rather, how much better) can this paint be????

Re: Farrow & Ball paint
Wow! My 100% zero VOC paint was "only" $50/gallon, and that's special paint, with a built-in premium.
Does it paint the walls for you?

Re: Farrow & Ball paint
For that price, it better put itself on the walls and bring me water besides.

Re: Farrow & Ball paint
They are ridiculous! Bring the color swatch and have it matched with BM.

Re: Farrow & Ball paint
We have a Farrow & Ball shop in the leafy Cheshire village where I work. The thing is with F&B paints is that they have a really wonderful chalky finish that is quite different than regular latex based paint (imo) so if you are only going to paint once every few years, its worth a few hundred to get the effect that their paints give. I would spend the money if I loved one of their paints.

Re: Farrow & Ball paint
I had the same revelation yesterday! I saw a pic of their green blue in Glamour and googled it.
Nuts!
