Hopefully Jack will be here wayyy before Father's Day - but I'm curious what everyone will be getting their DHs? Especially the new moms who will just have given birth?!

I'm with you...lol. He'll get a sweet card, but I'll have to bring him to the store w/me as he did.
K, maybe I shouldn't be mean, his stepgrandmother died that week and we were at her wake. He said he'd get something if we were home...we've been home 2 wks..nothing yet...

Re: Father's Day Gifts
I'm so excited about Father's Day for DH...we're due 3 days later, so baby could be here or not (I don't want her early though!!)
Anyway, I've been buying stuff for a month!! I got him the Diaper Dude bag, some girly Mets onesies (for baby obviously, not for him ), a new Mets shirt & hat for him, 2 'Daddy's Girl' frames, a really cute "Dad & Me" book from Borders (really for ages 3+, but it's adorable... the child answers questions about dad, and vice versa), and that's it so far. I thought maybe I'd get him a golf gift certificate too, so he would feel ok going out golfing once baby comes.

Re: Father's Day Gifts
I got him the Mets booties that he's been looking for and a Mets Mr Potato Head because it's got "Spud" on the back of it's shirt and that's what we call the baby

This is a good idea too!!
I am hoping DH gets me a Lladro mommy figurine as a push present -- so if anyone talks to my DH and wants to drop the hint...

Re: Father's Day Gifts
Well, I am due the day before, so his father's day gift might actually be the baby. Other than that I am not sure. If I dont have the baby, I will get him a card as that is what I got. If I have the baby, might have to figure out how to get the gift, maybe a BBQ since we need one anyway.

Re: Father's Day Gifts
We went to a Yankee game back in April and DH found a bunch of yankee stuff for the baby that he wanted so he asked if I would buy it for her and give it to him for Father's day.
At the rate I am going the baby might very well be here by then and he thinks that is the best father's day gift I could give him
