faucet and D-shaped sink question (pic enclosed)

So we are getting a D shaped sink for the kitchen and picked out a faucet (on mega clearance at Lowe's :) ) .... it has a spout, the handle is separate, and the soap dispenser.... the granite guy said that it would look weird and lopsided to have 3 holes.... so I think we can skip the soap dispenser and have the faucet spout on the left of the sink and the control to turn the water on/off on the right side of the sink.......... what do y uothink??? stupid? should I just do 3 holes? or put spout and control next to each other on one side of sink?? please help! Need to call granite man tomorrow...

here's the faucet, only in staineless steel

that's exactly what we have. We like it. I have the soap dispenser as well and never use it.

Do you have it on a D sink? What does it look like?

We got the same one on clearance too (what a deal!). We plan to add a fourth hole for filtered water (great for pasta and coffee).

we have a d-shaped sink with a faucet like yours and a soap dispenser, but we also have a sprayer too. I never thought it looked weird, but maybe it does. I'm attaching a pic so you can judge for yourself! Chat Icon I also love having the soap dispenser. Less clutter--I hate leaving an ugly bottle of Palmolive on the counter!

thanks guys...The granite guy says that the faucet, etc. go off to the sides, not at the top of the sink like your picture.... I'd prefer it at the top... he says it doesn't fit there... hmm... does anyone have it off to the side?

will your sink be in a corner? maybe it fits with mine because there's room behind the sink in the corner? Chat Icon

It's not in a corner... so that's what I'm thinking... that there won't be room behind it.... personally, I don't care if it looks 'lopsided'.... i was just wondering if anyone else thought it would be a big faux pas to do it and have the faucet and spout on the left side of the sink and then the soap dispenser on the right

i think it would look fine. i never would have even thought about it looking lopsided.

I have a D Shaped Sink, but only 1 hole...faucet and sprayer in one. I guess mine's lopsided too then. But if you want all 3 I don't think it matters if there's 2 on one side and 1 on the other.

I don't think it looks uneven...
