Favorite Educational Toys for 1-2 year olds?
Looking to get DD some toys beyond the ones that light up and make noise.. She has a lot of the Fisher Price laugh and learn toys, but trying to get some different ideas.

DS got a Mr. Potato Head for christmas and loves it. He needs some help getting the pieces in, but he can play with it for a while. Not sure if that's really considered educational, but it doesn't make noise!
He also loves puzzles and musical instruments (just regular ones like maracas and tambourines).
I forgot to add the Fisher Price My First blocks.
I think everything else we have makes noise or lights up!

Favorite Educational Toys for 1-2 year olds?
My girls really like their travel sized magnadoodle. They also love pushing around the fisher price shopping cart. They put their babies in the front and then various toys and sippy cups in the basket.
oh, oops, I didn't see the educational part of that LOL Ok, so not educational but entertaining.

I like the Melissa & Doug number, alphabet, color fish and shapes puzzles. Brown Bear & Big Green Monster books. I second letter factory DVD.
