Favorite grocery store?
What’s your favorite grocery store and why? Normally we do Costco/ shoprite but Costco we spend a fortune every week and shoprite, I feel like my fruits/ veggies don’t last long at all!

I use Stop n Shop because it's close and I won't run around or go out of my way for groceries.
But their produce sucks and they are overpriced.
If I need produce...which is rare because I don't really eat fruit or veges...i use meat farms

Favorite grocery store?
I don't really have a favorite. Been loving bjs lately for the salad kits. I go to gala fresh (which is key food, really) because it's close. I have a stop and shop in town, aldi, a costco, best yet market and we are allegedly getting a shoprite soon.
If I had to pick one I would say stop and shop because I can get everything I need in one in quick trip and they have a great selection of healthy things

Favorite grocery store?
I love shoprite. The only produce I have issues with are the onions. I always end up with one or two bad ones in a bag. Everything else from there lasts well.
I supplement by ordering online from Amazon and target. Target isn't always the fastest but if up have a red card it's free shipping so I'll order cleaning supplies, paper goods, toiletries. Cheaper to order than set foot in the store!

I feel like this is par for the course in Suffolk county.
All the grocery stores have crap produce
I do the farm stands in the summer

I do my weekly shopping at stop and shop (peapod). I buy my produce at Best Market. I do a monthly run to Trader Joe's and Aldi to pick up the things that we like from those places. Once my local farmers market opens, we do that on Fridays to get our produce that we don't grow.

Favorite grocery store?
Whole foods. The produce is much better than anywhere else. I also go to Costco about once and get a few things at Target.

Depends on my needs and mood. I use Whole Foods, North Shore Farms, and Stop and Shop, all depending on different factors. Generally I don’t like big supermarkets and only use stores like Stop and Shop for stocking up on non perishable staples.

Favorite grocery store?
ShopRite for weekly things. It’s convenient and they have good prices. I love Trader Joe’s, but it’s a hike, so I stock up there about once a month.
We go to BJ’s but I won’t be renewing my membership there because I am stopped multiple times by people selling solar panels and home improvement in the aisles while I’m trying to shop and it’s annoying. My friend told me Boxed.com is a good alternative.

Favorite grocery store?
We just started to go back to Stop and shop. we used to go to Shop rite because they had more options but the produce quality has gone down and it's no longer cheaper than stop and shop

We now go to stop and shop, now that a smaller (not a super) one finally opened up near our house. I don’t like those huge ones. Before that, we went to king kullen. I love their stores but hate king kullen produce and their prices and exhorbitant.

Shoprite & Fairway! Only go to Stop & Shop as a last resort, so overpriced and for as big as they are, they have hardly any variety in products.

Have the prices at Whole Foods decreased? We used to shop there when it was just us and didn’t have 2 growing boys to feed and it was closer when we had our apartment. After we moved 4 years ago we have rarely gone

I love Stew Leonards and TJs. I loathe big grocery stores like Shop Rite and Stop N Shop. They give me anxiety.
The new Key Food on Carmans Road in Massapequa is pretty great and super close to my house so that's where we have been going now.

Trader Joe’s
I like it because of the prices, it’s not huge and therefore I don’t get food overwhelmed lol
We have a North Shore Farms on our corner and I’ll go there too but more for pre made food and the deli counter
And lastly I really like Salpinos, especially their bakery dept

Trader Joe's
North Shore Farms for produce and fish
Occasionally I'll go to Whole Foods if I have time to trek to Jericho.
Iavarone and Uncle Giuseppe's for meat
I very, very rarely go to Stop n Shop and I've been in Shop Rite and King Kullen once. I don't even know how King Kullen stays in business, their prices are absurd.

Favorite grocery store?
I get most of my grocery shopping from Trader Joe’s, a few items from Whole Foods (because TJs doesn’t carry them), and non edible items like paper towels, laundry detergent, etc from Costco. However I signed up for a CSA share with my local farmer so I’ll be getting most of my veggies and some fruits from him during the warm seasons.

when i was living in nj, i shopped at shoprite and a small, local produce store. the small, local place was where i got all my ethnic stuff... even things that aren't of my ethnicity. they had great stuff from all over the world.
shoprite was good for all the basics, plus they were good for couponing.
every once in a while, if a deal was amazing, i'd go to acme.
