Brand/flavor? Also, do you add anything to the sauce or noodles such as cheese, spices, olive oil, etc?

Victoria's.

Yep! In fact, I cook garlic, onions, sausage etc, and when it's time to add tomatoes, I add Victoria's. My homemade sauce was great once in a while but "eh" most of the time. I find that using Victoria's instead of canned tomatoes works for me.

Victoria's and Rao's (on sale in Stop and Shop this week for $5.99 btw) Both Marinara which is what I prefer.

Rao's

When I use cheaper brands, I usually add extra spices and we top with some fresh parm cheese grated over the top. I like A LOT of garlic, so I always add a bit to jarred sauce. DH likes it spicy so I usually add red pepper flake and mixed herbs I buy at the Italian imports store.

Re: Favorite jarred pasta sauce?

I bout a jar of Lydia's in Fairway and it wasn't bad, just a tad watery for my taste so I added a bit of corn starch to thicken it up without changing the flavor.

I bout a jar of Victoria's to try next. I usually make my own sauce, but lately it's been ok. Can't seem to figure out why.
