My brother is in the music business, and was VERY tight with NKOTB, still is with Jordan actually. Well, for my 15th birthday, my brother picked me up at my house in a limo, and took me to see them in concert at Nassau Coliseum, and I had dinner with them after the show.

Funny story about that. My next door neighbor growing up was about 6 years older than me and in my eyes, the coolest person EVER! So she told me how much she like Joey (who I also happened to like) and that if anyone else liked him, she'd kill them (or something along those lines), so me, at the age of 6, thinking she wasn't kidding, told everyone that I like Donny the best (GROSS!). I even had pictures of him hanging in my room to make her think that I really did like Donny. I hid the fact that I was in love with Joey from her for so long.

ahhh...I'm so jealous!!!!!! I remember getting so excited when I went to my first concert and thought "OMG I'm breathing the same air as Jon" - YUP I was that pathetic over them...

My best friend who was as obsessed over them as I was - won tickets from Z100 to meet Joey when he came out with his solo album a awhile back. We went to the meeting and what a completel a s s he was...so stuck up - thought who he was - wouldn't even take a picture or sign an autograph...totally turned us off - we chucked his albums when we got home...
