Feb / March Mommies - Going Home Outfits?
I am due in 3 weeks and I am not sure what to pack to bring the baby home in...
I have a cotton Baby Koala onesie with feet, long sleeved white onesie for underneath, cotton hat, along with the bundle me on top and maybe a knitted blanket resting on top of that... Is that enough?
I live upstate and it is has been really really cold and snowy (with the exception of this weekend!)!
I didn't know if the onesie/hat should be fleece... or if I should put something like this on top of the onesie under the bundle me...

I have the side snap t-shirt/onesie, a cotton onesie with feet and a hat, a blanket and the bundle me for the car seat.
I have a fleece snow suit but that seems like a lot. I'll probably throw it in and see what the nurses think and also how cold it is that day.

I live upstate so I figure it will be a bit colder than for the LI ladies but even then we are just outside for a few seconds- leaving the hospital to the car and from the car into the house.
We plan on a cotton footie with matching hat and blanket and a lite bundle me around the carseat.

I've been thinking about this too! So far I've planned a side-snap shirt, a long sleeve onesie with matching pants, socks and a hat. Then I'll use the Bundle Me. Not sure if I'm going to change my mind or not...

This is a good idea... I do have a snow suit type thing that maybe I will bring "just in case" it is below zero or something.....

Re: Feb / March Mommies - Going Home Outfits?
I just had DD on Monday. I did not do a snow suit. They are soo little and fragile and to try and stuff her into it was too much for me.
I had her in the side snap long sleeve t-shirt they put them in and a fleece one piece. And then the bundle me thing. And I also had a blanket under the bundle me but she was sweating with all that on her. The bundle me is supposed to act like a coat.
I left the hospital on one of the coldest days and she was fine.

I am doing pretty much the same thing as 5ofClubs. I am putting him in a knit sweater onsie (long sleeves & full pant legs) and then using a bundle for the car seat.

Thank you.
It is Kiddopotamus Posh Pouch. I didn't like the idea of the Original Bundleme covering the straps of the carseat so I bought this one.

Re: Feb / March Mommies - Going Home Outfits?
I'm due next week. He'll be going home in a regular cotton onesie underneath a fleece feety onesie. I'll throw a blanket on top and that's that. He's only going from the front entrance of the hospital a few steps to the car waiting there. So he'll only be outside for a few moments.

We got a knit outfit with booties. He has a handmade hat and mittens from his aunt.
then we will probably use the bundle me or a snow suit, not sure yet!
