feds may cut rate again
do you think it will lower the rate on 30 yr mortgages? we just missed getting in the mid 5% range for our refinance, but we do have an option that if the rate drops we can chnage if its before we close.

I am going to be really annoyed if they cut rates again. 
My money market accounts were over 5.5% interest before they started cutting rates like crazy.
Now i'm lucky if I can get 4.5% or better.

They are def going to cut rates between 252 and 50 basis points... most analysts from Bloomberg are saying 50 basis points.. but the fed is also concerned re: inflation.
Not sure how it will affect mortgages- might go slightly lower- but mortgages have raised in the 3 weeks since the last cut... so who knows.

exactly, all of these rate cuts aren't helping as far as I'm concerned. Its too late.

i agree..my hi yield accounts are in the toilet.
The only saving grace is my interest only piggy back loan on my investment property..that has gone down.

Long term bond rates have gone up in the past 3 weeks despite the base rate being lower, so mortgage rates may not be exactly low despite the cut. Kinda stinks! I'd like to refi but we shall see. No matter what, the economy is in a real conundrum, just a mess right now.
