Feeding schedule for a 5 week old?

Should DS be on a "schedule"? As of how, I feed him when he is hungry. Usually every 2-3 hours but sometimes he goes 4 hours. Is that considered a schedule? I don't know the specific times b/c they are never the same with each day. Should they be the same?

My son is 10 weeks old and i kind of let him set the schedule. He eats about every 4 hours and sometimes even lasts up to 6 (at night) They are definately too young still for us to set a schedule for them.

don't drive yourself crazy with a schedule. You are feeding on demand at this point which is what you are supposed to be doing. I could never get my dd on a schedule until she was about 6 months old. She ate and slept when she wanted.

DS is 8 weeks and he eats when he wants too. He goes about 4 - 5 hours during the day and about 5 - 6 at night.
I let him make his schedule

DS is 6 weeks old and definitely not on a schedule yet. he can go 3-4 hours during the day and 4-5 hours at night between feedings, but that varies each day and can be shorter if he is going thru a growth spurt (like now )

i am pretty sure that DS is trying to get himself on a kind of schedule because he is napping around the same time each morning and afternoon, and going to bed around the same time each night, but the feedings don't really correlate with his naps except for when he goes down for the night

DS gets hungry every 3 hous and eats 4 ounces
